Report:got a call from good friend bernard for a last minute session ,be his last in a while as he be a daddy soon id only frozen bait so a quick call to the lads in the q and a section of this site and we sorted for lovely fat lug in waterford, thanks lads arrived at the mark in waterford at 13.30 and set up 3 rods with different rigs and baits , bern was straight into the fish with 3 codling in two casts, i got snagged first cast and rapidly tied on new shockleader and rig and back out in no time and was rewarded with two fine fat codling at 1.3/4 lbs ,pics took and backin they went,these were to be best codling of the day with smaller lads to follow all day, changed rigs to flappers 2up 1 down to target a few flatties as well and had some nice flounder and dabs, had a break for tea and reviewing the photos realised the camera was full from christening two weeks ago, all the photos took of fish were non existent doh!!!!!!,carried on anyway with whiting comin on the feed and have to say busiest session in a long long time with fish every cast got a few pics and my last cast produced 4 fish on a 3 hook flapper, greedy little whitings gob was welded to the attractor with a bit of lug on it had a job to get him let go , what a way to end a magnificent day, several creamy pints were consumed afterwards, sittin by the fire in the local,havin a good run of luck lately hope it keeps up,ahh what a lovely day

Im getting my camera back out again im looking for a tripod probably a telescopic one any know of a good one?

About the radio !!! I been looking at this “ICOM IC-M411” DSC Radio and it seems to fit the type of radio I’m looking for ”Cheap” but good,

I have priced it on a web site €159.95 before post & packing, I would much prefer to buy it from a shop here in case I have a problem with it down the line

The thing I would like to know is are there any places around the country that sell this radio… I don’t mind travelling as long as there are a couple of good fishing marks near by,

Or if any of you have a link for a site where you’ve had a radio from and think said site are good for after care service,

Plus if you think I’m going after the wrong radio I would appreciate any help along these lines as well,
