People:just me

Duration:6-12.30am

Tide:high-dropping

Weather:crap

Bait:rag squid

Rigs:wishbone and 2 hook flapper

Results:1 small whitting ,3 coalies ( 6-16 inches), 5 codling (8-13 inches )

Report: had been looking forward to getting out all week, collected bait
packed up the jeep and headed off, when i got there it was pitch black, blowing
a gale and raining. set up and stuck on the new imax float suit, was roasting
after about ten minutes, (but its better than being cold and wet). chatting to
some other lads who'd been there all day and seemed that it was going to be a
slow night. but i stuck on the bell on to help with bite detection cos of the winds
started off with the small cod then whitting, slowed a bit then small coalies, decent
cod then the big coalie :D :D a decent codling then the rest. not a bad night after
all and signs are good as the cod have finally started to show

People:Me

Duration: 2 Hours

Tide:Low Water around 6

Weather:dd Mild, North Wind (i think), No Surf

Bait:Crab
dd
Rigs: In-Line Feeder Rig

Results: 3 Bass (2 Returned)

Report:
A mate asked asked me yesterday to catch her a bass for a dinner tomorrow. Considering the conditions I told her I couldn't promise anything and I knew I couldn't go pluggin today so it was goin to be difficult. Decided on an estuary mark because I knew there would be a flow of tide after low water which would increase my chances. Got 3 and kept the middle weight one, which was a nice fish (pictured). All in all I'm pleased enough.
